For those who enjoy shooting wood arrows we now offer these point adapters.
Durable, yet light weight, made of aluminum, these weigh in at only 50 grains.
Designed to fit a 5/16" (8 mm) diameter wood arrow shaft. They will also fit an 11/32" (8.7 mm) shaft if the end is dressed down sandpaper or scraping.
The total insert length is 1.575" (40 mm) and the shaft slides in to a depth of 0.625" (15.8mm)
The adapters allow using any screw in point or broadhead that uses the standard #8-32 screw thread shank. Using a screw in point can also make tuning your equipment go faster and easier.
These adapters also don’t need for the arrow shaft end to be tapered to accommodate the usual tapered glue on points often required for using wood arrow shafts. They are easily installed as a slip on fit using just a hot melt glue or an epoxy. (Shaft finishes that are very thick may need to be scraped down in order to obtain a good fit.)
